Numan and his crew worked each day until dusk and completed this very challenging job in just 6 days. Renovations often involve surprises, and there were many challenging surprises here: creating innovative rain escape solution for tree through the deck, discovering rot in main support posts not visible under steps. Numan approached each challenge with thoughtful analysis based on his extensive experience and patiently explained the issue and potential solutions to me for consideration and decision. I really appreciated his approach. His commitment to solving each challenge properly and for the long term was refreshing and I could see the pleasure it gave him solving challenges and providing great results for his client. Our experience with Newman Decks has been excellent from beginning to end. We received assistance with planning our new deck and obtaining the building permit; there was timely communication from Numan at all stages. Numan and his team completed the new deck project within the expected time frame, with wonderful attention to detail and workmanship. Every piece of debris from the old deck and the construction was picked up, leaving our backyard just as it was before the work started. We have hired Newman Decks to demolish the old, flimsy deck and to build a new, large backyard deck. We are very happy with the results! Numan and his crew took care about obtaining building permit, so we have just been updated about the progress. During the building process, Numan personally attended inspections conducted by city inspector, so the process was effortless for us. Numan and his crew are hard, professional and very polite workers. The project was completed within quoted price, end result EXCEEDED our expectations. We have recommended Newman Decks to our friends and to a few of our neighbors, after they have seen our new deck.
