I haven't tried the honey yet but wanted to comment on the dispatch and delivery. I originally placed my order on November 16. There was no sign of the package being dispatched on November 28 (Friday) so I reached out to Kinghaven Farms to request details of when to expect delivery. On December 1, the following Monday I received notification from the delivery company that the package was on its way. It's disappointing that no acknowledgment or apology for forgetting to send it, which is the only explanation I can think of for the tardy dispatch of 15 days following order placement, was received. Customers should not need to remind companies IMHO
I wanted to like this company, but the biggest issue is their communication. They don’t answer phone calls, and emails go unanswered. The only way I could reach them was through social media messages. And it’s not just the online side overall communication from the company is lacking. I ordered over $75 to get free shipping, but I couldn’t check my order or shipping status at all. Even though I’m also in Ontario, the delivery took more than two weeks, which is extremely slow. I don’t recommend ordering online, especially if you’re buying it as a gift. If there’s any issue with your order, it’s very difficult to get in touch with them, so keep that in mind. If you really want their honey and live in Ontario, I’d recommend visiting in person rather than ordering online.
The products are delicious and very well priced. Overall professional operation, gorgeous grounds and the nicest people. It was a pleasure visiting and trying the different flavors. Ended up leaving with a good haul for my family and best friends too. Well done guys and thank you for the hospitality (ps I'm seeing people whining about their service speed etc. this is a local farm not some giant corporation with an army in a call centre. And you get what you pay for: INCREDIBLY high quality products and the NICEST people, if you're able to visit in person)
Their honey is absolutely delicious! We were offered samples and all were great , the creamed cinnamon honey was my favourite it’s so good ! Highly recommend PS. My honey obsessed boyfriend highly approves
